If you are interested in music production, then you won’t want to miss our Inside The Session event featuring Half Hour Late.
We’ll be opening up our legendary Studio A for a live recording session, with studio and educational staff on-hand to answer any questions you may have about this fascinating experience.
It’s not every day you get to see a behind-the-scenes look at a band recording live in a world-class commercial recording studio. Over the evening, you’ll get a fly-on-the-wall look at this amazing process, including a set-up tour in Studio A, a live recorded performance with Half Hour Late, and an insight into the mixing process.
If you want to dive deeper, we’ll have staff on hand to answer questions on the services we offer and the educational courses we run at Studio West and The Recording Arts Center.
There are a maximum of 20 places for this event.
Ticket price: $20.
A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE
We’ll have Studio A primed to go for the recording session, which means we’ll be ready to start our session! We’ll give you a run-down of the room, and the equipment we have chosen for this session.
After the recording, we may add some overdubs, extra musical takes, or additional vocal tracks. We’ll then do a quick dive into the world of mixing, and transform our recording!
The evening will be presented by Producer/Engineer Todd Hunsaker, and Studio West Admissions Coordinator, Simon DasGupta.
